Alicia’s Garden-Inspired Toronto Bridal Shower at Graydon Hall Manor

Every one of Alicia and Conner’s wedding events was designed with purpose, each location telling a story steeped in charm and history. For her bridal shower, Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto offered the perfect blend of elegance, romance, and lush surroundings. Our goal was to create a bespoke bridal shower experience that felt ethereal, joyful, and completely one-of-a-kind.
The Design
The colour palette consisted of a lively mix of green, pink, tangerine, yellow, and soft beige and set the tone for the entire celebration. We layered in playful textures and patterns using custom linens in florals, stripes, and spring-inspired prints. Fresh florals were everywhere: spilling from bud vases, climbing across tablescapes, and blooming from the garden-like seating chart, where potted arrangements held guest names.
The Guest Experience
Guests were treated to a decadent three-course brunch, beginning with a tea party tier and followed by signature mains like shakshuka and fried chicken and waffles. With the April sun in full bloom, guests flowed effortlessly between the indoor dining space and Graydon Hall’s Garden Terrace, where fountains and floral backdrops created the perfect photo moments.
Inside the carriage house, we revealed a surprise, the Mrs. Market—a fully customized shopping experience built just for Alicia. Guests received branded shopping bags and were invited to explore a curated collection of interactive stations:
A bouquet bar to hand-tie fresh spring florals
A perfume bar with custom-blended scents
A calligraphy engraving station for personalized purse combs
A bespoke matcha latte bar cheekily named For Better or For Matcha
The day ended on a sweet note with a dessert table brimming with matcha croissants, tea cakes, cookies, and mini confections. As a final surprise, the groom, Conner, made an appearance and joined Alicia for a few games using their custom “his and hers” paddles, bringing a personal touch to the day.
From Vision to Reality
Alicia’s bridal shower began with a single design word: whimsical. From there, we curated an inspiration board rooted in garden romance, joyful colour, and playful details. The creative direction blended vintage charm with editorial edge—featuring soft florals, fresh greenery, and tactile patterns like stripes and botanical prints.
As the concept evolved, every choice—from the seating chart styled as a blooming garden, to the bouquet bar and engraved gifting station—brought us closer to the original vision. Seeing that inspiration come to life across the manicured grounds of Graydon Hall was one of those full-circle moments that defines what we love most about planning.
