Welcome to a New Era of RISE Times
The RISE Times has a new home on Substack, and we’re so excited to share the latest edition.
Dear Readers,
We’re delighted to be back with an update from the world of RISE. It’s been a season filled with inspiring events, meaningful milestones, and plenty of behind-the-scenes moments we can’t wait to tell you about.
Wedding Update:
We kicked things off in April with Alicia and Conner’s epic joint bachelor/bachelorette party in Charleston. The weekend was curated from start to finish with yacht days, exclusive chef-prepared dinners, tailored day excursions, and unforgettable moments—by weekend’s end, guests were calling it the best trip of their lives.
From there, we transformed Graydon Hall Manor into a feminine, whimsical garden party for Alicia’s bridal shower. Guests enjoyed her very own Mrs. Market, “shopping” curated pieces like engraved purse combs and fresh bouquets, and creating their own custom perfume. We also introduced “Mrs. Matcha,” a pop-up matcha shop serving lattes in custom cups.

In June, the celebrations reached their peak with a stunning Newport, Rhode Island wedding weekend alongside 115 of their closest family and friends. The festivities included a sunset yacht welcome party, an oceanside rehearsal dinner at Castle Hill Inn, a dreamy wedding at The Chanler with a fully custom-built event space, and an unforgettable after-party. The weekend closed with a relaxed seaside brunch, a perfect finale.
Corporate Update:
Our corporate work has been just as inspiring, with our team conceiving and producing distinctive, brand-forward projects in partnership with our amazing clients. From producing intimate dinner events and influencer activations for Alastin Skincare and guiding Guru Studio through a creative and meaningful 25th-anniversary celebration.

For Galderma’s Masterclass, we selected Taglialatella Galleries as the setting. The contemporary, artist-led aesthetic mirrored our belief that their aesthetics practitioners are artists in their own right, and situating the program within a gallery created an experience that felt forward, elevated, and cool.
At the Woodbine Racetrack Club, we reimagined Sunbrite and Torlys’ annual charity golf tournament as A Day at the Races, an exclusive trackside experience, that pivoted the concept, programming, and guest flow while rallying support for mental health awareness.
Behind the Scenes:
Outside of events, the RISE team has taken time to recharge, visiting our cottages, keeping up with Pilates and barre, and soaking up the summer sun. After Alicia and Conner’s wedding, we stayed on in Boston for a few extra days and took a day trip to Salem, complete with a private team reading from a psychic featured on the Giggly Squad YouTube channel. Sofie, Julia’s now 10-month-old Cockapoo, has kept us on our toes and fully embraced her role as team boss.

What’s Next:
As we move into the fall season, we’re gearing up for more beautiful weddings and a holiday event planning. The months ahead are shaping up to be just as exciting, and we’re ready to hit the ground running.
We’ll be back soon with another update, but as always, we’d love to hear from you. Let us know what you’d like to see in future editions or drop us a DM on Instagram, we love staying connected.
xx,
